Dynamic New Sales Concept Places Baci Center Stage in Dedicated Display Area!
Baci Lingerie announces the opening of its “Shop-in-Shop” at the Fairvilla Megastore in Orlando, Florida. The dedicated display area is a first for Baci, as it partners with Fairvilla for its entry into the dynamic new sales concept.
“We worked with Fairvilla over the last six months to present this groundbreaking display space to consumers,” Baci Lingerie Director of Sales and Operations Alicia Sinclair says. “I’ve always been impressed with Fairvilla’s innovative approach to retail concepts and ideas, making it the perfect store to partner with on our debut ‘Shop-in-Shop’ – the first of many highlighting Baci’s glamorous lines and products.”

The Baci Shop-In-Shop was custom-designed for the Fairvilla Orlando Megastore and modeled after Baci’s luxurious showrooms in Los Angeles and Miami. The footprint is 12’ x 18’ and the space is defined by high walls on 2 sides, which have tasteful Baci signage on the outside of the display space.
To create a more intimate shopping experience, tables are utilized, displaying items out of the box and giving consumers tangible options and increased visibility. A glass showcase, hanger spaces, and mannequins provide a more complete representation of the product.
Sinclair adds, “Our goal was to create a scaled down version of our showrooms, creating a boutique feel with direct access to our lingerie. We are thankful to Fairvilla for providing us with premium space in the middle of the store and are excited to witness the results.”
The Shop-In-Shop makes browsing more comfortable. Displayed within the space are items from Baci Lingerie’s high-end Black Label collection, the playful and erotic White Label collection, and the Dreams collection of erotic bedroom costumes. On December 14, a selection of natural-look, glamour, and novelty styles of Baci Eyelashes, providing “Glamour in the blink of an eye,” will be temporarily showcased. Future plans call for the addition of Baci’s Envy line of men’s underwear.

Sex, Toys and Rock ‘n Roll Collection Makes Public Debut at Red Carpet Event
The Official Launch Party for Phil Varone’s Sex, Toys and Rock ‘n Roll Collection happened Thursday, May 17 at Romantix on Melrose. The former drummer of Skid Row and Saigon Kick, and Sex Rehab reality show star, introduced the toys to the public at the red carpet event.

The event was free to attend and open to the public. It featured autograph and photo opportunities, as well as in-store specials and prize give-a-ways.

Lingerie and swimwear retailer Frederick’s of Hollywood is contemplating a sell-off or merger of the business, the company confirmed.
The US group has retained New York-based investment bank Allen & Company to help it in “evaluating and exploring a broad range of strategic alternatives”, it said, including a possible sale or merger of the company.
“Over the past few months, the board has received several inquiries regarding various transactions,” said Thomas Lynch, Frederick’s chairman and CEO.
“We believe it is an appropriate time to formalize the process by engaging a world-class advisor that can assist us in identifying and reviewing a wide array of strategic alternatives that can maximize value for our shareholders.”
The company has set no timeline for the review and said there was non assurance that it would result “in any specific action or transaction”.
Frederick’s sells women’s intimate apparel and swimwear through 117 stores, a catalogue and an online shop.
The company reported a net loss of US$3.5m in its second quarter, as margins fell on nearly flat sales of $32.5m.
