Lipgloss & Lace

I thought that since I am in a very unique position of being both a model and makeup artist going to the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas that I would share my experience in the form of a vlog of my trip!

I flew from Madison to Minneapolis to Vegas, and then went to bed my first night.
The next day, Sunday, I helped set up the booth. Monday was the first day of the show – I mostly stood in the booth and modeled Tia Lyn’s designs, but since I have been working with her so long, I got the opportunity to help her sell when the booth had more buyers than she could handle at once, or when people joined mid-presentation. I also had the opportunity to showcase my new lipgloss line!
Near the end of Monday, I went to runway rehearsal for the lingerie fashion show – if you scroll back on my twitter timeline, you can see some of my tweets of funny things overheard at rehearsal that you wouldn’t likely hear elsewhere! After rehearsal, we had our fashion show, and then went to the after party upstairs at VooDoo, where we got bottle service on top of the roof – gorgeous view!
Tuesday and Wednesday were very similar to Monday, but without the party on Wednesday. Instead of the party, I got the chance to do interviews about my lipgloss line (follow me on social media for links to that!) as well as taking advantage of the virtual catalogue service that Fernando Cuestas of NANDOVISION offered. It was really a fun experience, and I can’t wait for next year! I have been recording the rest of my trip in a similar style, so I will be posting a part two video when I get back! Be sure to connect with me on twitter or facebook if you want to see that!
