Ellie Shoes Raises Funds for NBCC’s Campaign to End Breast Cancer by January 1, 2020

LA shoemaker, Ellie Shoes, has been kicking up their heels for the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), not only by donating 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of two shoes, the MaryEllen and the Curissa, but also by challenging other retailers as well as their customers to make donations to the Washington, DC based breast cancer organization.
“We wanted to participate in the fight against breast cancer for some time,” says Ellen Renger, Owner of Ellie Shoes, “and when we learned about NBCC and their campaign to end breast cancer by 2020 we were very excited about working with them.” In addition to Ellie Shoes’ retail contribution, the shoemaker has offered to donate six pair of shoes to NBCC’s upcoming silent auction, which will be held at its Annual Advocate Summit in Washington, DC, May 5-8.
Proceeds from Ellie Shoes will help support the work of the National Breast Cancer Coalition. NBCC is a grassroots advocacy organization that seeks to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020. NBCC, a strong and trusted voice, is the only breast cancer organization focused on ending breast cancer by January 1, 2020.
