HommeMystere is returning to the ILS this April

HommeMystere, the lingerie label for men, is exhibiting again this April at the ILS in Las Vegas. US Distributor Christy will be there and once again Brent Krause, the owner and designer, is flying in from Australia.
After creating quite a bit of interest at the September ILS, HommeMystere is once again bringing their unique style of underwear to show off to buyers. “We caused quite a sensation in September and were encouraged by the enthusiastic response from visitors” Brent said. He has several items featured in the Fashion Show on the Monday night and says the new Sheer brief and bra has been a standout winner since its release in January.
“We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the reaction to our latest garments. So much so, that we have our next two releases on the production line. They will be available towards the end of April, though samples will be available for viewing and orders will be accepted at the Show.”
Brent says pre show interest has been strong with several store owners ready to try a range of men’s lingerie in their stores. Brent said “Many store owners already know they have guys buying women’s lingerie for themselves in their stores. With the HommeMystere label, it allows owners to provide a garment suited to that market”

Brent promises there will be some special offers at the Show “We’ve been planning quite well for this Show and certainly listened to the feedback received in September.” Order discounts, and huge posters are just a couple of the offers available to buyers in April. “We want the best deal for both our stockists and customers and we’ve worked hard on achieving the right balance” he said
Brent says the label started due to what he calls the misuse of the word lingerie. “Guys search for lingerie and it’s the usual novelty garments that keep showing up. We thought it was time guys could have something a little lacy, racy and genuinely sexy to wear. Something to get a guy a little excited about his underwear choice each day.”
With a new Distributor in the UK serving European clients and the growing US client base, HommeMystere certainly appears to be a revolution in men’s underwear.
HommeMystere will be back at Booth #306 this year.

Eurotique Corsets to Debut New Collection of Bustiers at ILS

Eurotique introduces new product line that retails for under $69 the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas
Eurotique will be featuring their new collection called Romance by Eurotique at the International Lingerie Show, April 8-10 2013 in Las Vegas, NV in booth 103.
Eurotique Corsets has been manufacturing quality steel boned corsets for almost two decades. Their unique designs have kept them in the forefront of the lingerie and apparel industry for several years running. Due to many requests and the need for more affordable products in the marketplace Eurotique has made the decision to start offering Bustiers.
Eurotique was not only looking to reach a broader demographic with their reasonably priced collection, but they also wanted to address the difference between a corset and a bustier. There is a lot of confusion in the marketplace due to marketing campaigns misinforming retailers and consumers. Big brand names are often repeat offenders when it comes to promoting and selling products that are Bustiers but are marketed as corsets. The big question is can consumers tell the difference? In a picture it is very difficult to see the difference, but when consumers feel them and see them next to one another there is a noticeable difference.

The difference between a corset and a bustier comes down to the construction of the garment. Corsets are made with several layers of fabric to reinforce the garment and they have steel boning to help provide structure. Corsets will provide function and form by lifting the bust line and shaping the torso creating an hourglass figure, when properly fitted steel boned corsets can reduce a waistline up to 4 inches. Bustiers are made with plastic boning and no lining, they are designed to be worn as decorative tops, they do not lift your bust nor do they cinch or contour the body.
This spring when Eurotique launches their Romance collection consumers will have the opportunity to feel and compare the garments side by side and then make an educated decision as to which one is better for them. The new Romance collection might be less expensive than a traditional Eurotique corset, but the level of quality and craftsmanship is still apparent. Romance by Eurotique will be available in 14 trendy styles in 5 different colors and it will have an attractive retail price point of $69 or less.
Eurotique is well recognized in the corset community and has been nominated by XBIZ as one of the top 10 Lingerie and Apparel manufactures for 2012 and 2013. Eurotique is known as having high standards regarding producing quality products, great customer service, and reliability. They offer Fullbust, Underbust Waist Cinchers, Fashion Corsets and Women’s Leather Separates. Sizes range from XS-5X and can be made up to 10X.

Coquette Gets Set for Spring 2013 International Lingerie Show

-Darque 2013 with plus sizing / Monday night Fashion Show / Trip for 2 to Hawaii-
It’s that time of year again and Coquette is gearing up to head to Las Vegas for the International Lingerie Show April 8-10, 2013 held at the Rio Hotel and Casino.
The April International Lingerie Show is the larger of the biannual show and will be the official platform to release the Coquette 2013 Darque catalog. With much anticipation the company is pleased to announce that more styles within Darque are now available in plus. With the increasing demand for additional sizing the introduction of these pieces is expected to be an exceptional selling feature at the upcoming trade show. The designers have created a collection that incorporates more hardware such as grommets, zippers, metal garters and studs in this year’s line compared to last. Being the company’s edgier collection the pieces are designed using materials such as wet look, pleather, PVC, lace, poly-knit blends and Lycra. With these changes the sales team has high expectations for this fashionable line.

“To finally be offering more plus sizing in this already highly popular collection we cannot wait to show it off to our customers in April. The designers have once again done a fantastic job,” said national sales manager Dave George. “This versatile collection continues to impress our customers, and more so than ever this year it can be merchandised as lingerie or as outerwear.”
This year, buyers should expect nothing less than quality designed lingerie, new color themes and exceptional customer service from the sales team on location. The Coquette booth will be filled with samples from the recent collections that will be featured on models during the show, while the sales team will be available to discuss the company and its collections with retailers. The booth will be adorned with the most recent media shots of the lingerie manufacturer’s best selling pieces, and catalogs will be on hand for buyers.
“Again this year, Coquette will be present during the fashion show,” explained vice president of sales and marketing Marcus Horea. “Our team works extremely hard throughout the year to bring only the best designs to our customers and the spring [ILS] show is our chance to really show them off. As always we have an exciting incentive for our buyers who attend the show and encourage our retailers to book their appointments.”
The Monday night fashion show will feature the anticipated bestsellers from Coquette’s Darque, Main and Masquerade collections beginning at 6 p.m. Retailers, buyers and distributors alike will be in the audience to see the newest designs by the international manufacturers. Coquette looks forward to sharing this experience with many of its valued customers on April 8th.
Coquette will be giving away a trip for two to Hawaii once again to one of their lucky buyers! The winner plus a guest will be flown to Honolulu to enjoy a seven night stay at a luxurious Sheraton Resort. Retailers planning on visiting the Coquette booth at the show will have a chance to win. For every $3,000 order that buyers place they will receive a ballot. The draw will take place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at the Coquette booth (No. 724). The winner must be in attendance at the time of the draw.
With just a month to the show, appointment times are booking up fast to meet with the sales representatives. Coquette urges any buyers who plan on attending the show and have not yet scheduled a time to do so as soon as possible.
Coquette looks to impress as always and have an opportunity to meet with existing and new retailers.
