Eurovet, the worldwide leading reference in intimate apparel, swimwear and performance fabrics trade shows, and INVISTA, owner of the LYCRA® fiber brand, have teamed up for the third consecutive year to present Interfilière New York on Monday, September 21 at The Altman Building, located at 135 West 18th Street in Manhattan. The one day event presented fabrics, accessories, production capabilities from around the world and valuable strategic information curated for buyers from the North American market. The event bared the Interfilière quality label and its reputation as the global sourcing reference for intimate, swim and performance fabrics.

Charles_Roussel -20150921-1490 The event was a great success and the show floor was buzzing all day long, attracting 377 visitors (51% increase compared to 2014) from industry majors to young designers for face to face meetings with a select group of 48 (versus 32 Mills in 2014) top international mills.

Charles_Roussel -20150921-2159The show presented a geographically curated selection of mills from Europe, Asia and the Americas catering to the intimate apparel, swimwear and athleisure industry. Among the products shown, manufacturers, brands, upcoming designers and major retailers were eager to discover a balance and diverse sampling of lace, wovens, trimmings, embroideries, knits and print designs. In a live survey conducted on show floor 82% of the exhibitors declared being satisfied or very satisfied with the show, 71% said they met more than 10 accounts, 92% declared having started new relationships with brands.

Charles_Roussel -20150921-2586Among the new features presented this year, the Creative Lab, a new format trend presentation created by Concepts Paris for Interfilière New York showcased the mill’s technological innovations and was accessible all day long for visitors to discover.

The morning began with a trend presentation by Jos Berry, CEO and Founder of Concepts Paris, with a focus on Spring/Summer 2016 to guide the attendees through the offerings presented on the show floor. At 11 a.m., INVISTA presented LYCRA® BEAUTY COOLING technology.

The three events were a success and created a very positive atmosphere. The first trend presentation offered keys for visitors to shop the floor, the Summer 2017 preview insight for them to project into their collection and the LYCRA® BEAUTY presentation an eye into future and how to go further.

Baci Lingerie concludes its successful exhibition at Interfilière Paris, held this past weekend at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Throughout Interfilière weekend, European distributors and retailers alike took particular note of the luxury lingerie company’s newest collections, Corsets by Baci and Fetish by Baci.

Corsets by Baci Collection is composed of well crafted and fashion runway inspired ready-to-wear styles, as well as classic bedroom styles, in two groupings of 14 styles.
